About King KJ

King KJ is a kool 9 year old kid who was born with a rare medical condition called Moebius Syndrome. Moebius syndrome is a rare birth defect caused by the absence or underdevelopment of the 6th and 7th cranial nerves, which control eye movements and facial expression. 

Weakness or paralysis of the facial muscles is one of the most common features of Moebius syndrome. Because of this, KJ lacks facial expressions; he cannot smile, frown, or raise his eyebrows. It doesn't stop him from letting people know he cares, so KJ smiles with his heart! 

KJ was born in Virginia, but his family is native to Maryland, New York and Panama. KJ has also lived in Atlanta. 

KJ is the son of business consultant Les Michelle, the little brother of entrepreneur Envy Ke and the nephew of "Run it Up" Rapper Tre Da Kid (R.I.P). KJ is half Panamanian, his dad "Big Kev" is a Brooklyn NY native. 

Despite his diagnosis, KJ has thrived, beat many odds and gone through numerous surgeries. He doesn't allow his diagnosis to define who he is. KJ loves reading, Tyler Perry movies and plays, The Descendents, and Marvel Avengers. He's a friendly kid with a big personality, lots of friends and a loving, supportive family!
